Today marks the birth of generational history for the Zulu Nation, as the Zulu Kingdom hosts the coronation of King Misuzulu KaZwelithini at the Moses Mabida Stadium, north of Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
The Coronation comes after the passing of the Amazulu King, King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu who was the reigning King of the Zulu nation from 1968 to the time of his passing.
Zwelithini became King at the tender age of 20 years old, upon the death on of his father, King Cyprian Bhekuzulu, in the year 1968.
The Zulu Kingdom has not witnessed a Coronation ceremony in over 50 years since the Coronation of King Goodwill Zwelithini, marking this ceremony as an experience of a lifetime.
King Misuzulu KaZwelithini was handed over a Certificate of Recognition by South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa.
