Breaking: African National Congress politician and acting Secretary General Jesse Duarte has passed away this evening, following a short battle with a cancer related illness.
According to sources, Duarte passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning after battling with cancer.
According to Muslim rites, Duarte will be buried this afternoon in Johannesburg.
