Addressing the media in Mbombela, Mpumalanga this afternoon, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) President Julius Malema expressed the political parties feelings of anguish regarding the gruesome murder of Hillary Gardee.
Gardee is the daughter of former EFF Secretary General Godrich Gardee, who went missing on Friday, 29 April 2022 after she was abducted by unknown suspects.
Her body was discovered on Tuesday morning near a road outside of Nelspruit, by commuters heading to work in the early hours of the morning.
The crime scene was visited by South African Minister of Police to receive an investigative report from the team dispersed to the scene where the body was found. Minister Cele received a report from the investigating team at the crime scene where the body of Hillary Gardee was found at the Ehlanzeni district in the Sabie area just outside Nelspruit.
This Afternoon, EFF members gathered outside the residence of EFF secretary-general and attorney Godrich Gardee following the murder of his daughter Hillary Gardee, 28 whose body was found 40km outside of Nelspruit with head injuries. The political party is there as a means of solidarity and support for the Gardee Family.
While addressing the media, Malema said with frustration, that he and other members of the EFF were having difficulties sleeping and went on to say that he they have no reason to sleep.
