Breaking News: South Africa is today hosting its annual State of the Nation Address “#SONA2022”, where the president of the country will address issues pertaining to the growth and sustainability of the country through its economic development amongst other issues.
This afternoon, the South African flag draped a window at the Cape Town City Hall as Parliament welcomed attendees to #SONA2022.
According to the official Presidency Twitter page, President Cyril Ramaphosa will set out key policy objectives, highlight achievements, address challenges, and outline interventions to unlock development constraints for the coming financial year.

I’m his address tonight President Ramaphosa expressed the following:
Through innovative funding and improved technical capabilities, we have prioritised infrastructure projects to support economic growth and better livelihoods, especially in energy, roads and water management.
He went on to express and acknowledge that there are too many regulations in this country that are unduly complicated, costly and difficult to comply with and this in itself prevents companies from growing and creating jobs.
