Sad news for the South African entertainment industry as Radio and Television veteran, Ms. Kuli Roberts has died.
The cause of death has not yet been made available by the family, whilst UpdateSA efforts to get a comment from the Roberts family regarding her departure has served to be unsuccessful at this time. We will however be updating the public as soon information has been made available by the family.
The family has however released a statement this afternoon regarding the personalities passing.
Social media has gone ablaze with messages of condolences pouring out to the Roberts family by the followers, fans and supporters of the late Ms.Kuli Roberts.
Memories of her impact in the South African entertainment industry are pouring in, with somber yet cheerful messages of beautiful memories shared and remembered by them of Ms. Roberts.
Kuli Roberts is a South African Radio, Television and presenter, as well as a renowned beauty columnist and journalist. Amongst many other roles she played in the entertainment industry, she was popularly known for co-hosting the Kayafm breakfast show alongside late radio veteran Bob Mabena and Conediam Skhumba. She also hosted shows such as the SABC2 reality television show ‘What Not To Wear’ and “TrendingSA”.
According to media reports, a close friend of Ms.Roberts, revealed to City Press that Kuli collapsed on the set of her new show. “She arrived on set around 19:00, where they were filming with other artists. She collapsed,” the friend told City Press.
