

Televangelist Timothy Omotoso’s leave to appeal has been postponed to next month.
Omotoso and his co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho appeared in court this morning
in Port Elizabeth. Omotoso has been in jail since his arrest in 2017, he is accused of rape, human trafficking and racketeering.
The pastor’s application for a mistrial was dismissed due to the presiding judge concluding that the irregularities found were not enough for a mistrial.
Media reports state that the Pastor today was filing an application for leave to appeal the
dismissing of his application for a mistrial.
Omotoso’s bail application has failed several times.
