Johannesburg Mayor Geoff Makhubo announced he has contracted Covid-19.
According to Ndamase the mayor will continue to monitor and provide guidance on work currently being carried out to contain and manage the spread of Covid-19 in the city whilst in self-quarantine.
“The mayor has urged the residents of Johannesburg to exercise all necessary none medical precautions and ensure they wear masks and practice social distancing and limit movement in line with level 3 regulations that are currently in place” added Ndamase
