The family of Tebogo Tsotetsi, who is the father of the ‘Thembisa Ten’ has distanced themselves from the miracle birth.
Tsotetsi, claims to have been denied access to the babies after the delivery due to Covid-19 related restrictions.
Last week IOL, reported that a 37 year old woman gave birth to ten children, 7 boys and 3 girls at a Pretoria hospital. However the provincial government denied the claims that the babies were born in Gauteng.
The mother of the decuplets, Gosiame Sithole, has also failed to produce any proof of life after their birth and her whereabouts are unknown since the world first got wind of the record-breaking birth of the decuplets.
The family spokesperson Russell Baloyi said the family met and discussed all the facts with regards to the babies.
“Where the family stands right now, as we speak, is that there are no 10 babies until such time that the mother has been found and can point to the existence of the 10 babies,” said Baloyi.
Baloyi further said the family members are very unhappy with the situation.
According the family no one had seen the baby bump or scans.
