

President Cyril Ramaphosa met with the National Coronavirus Command Council on Monday.
There are growing concerns over the steep increase of COVID-19 cases in the country particularly in Gauteng.
For the past seven days, the country recorded COVID-19 infections well over 20 000 prompting government to take action.
Gauteng province accounts for more than two-thirds of infections in the past 24-hours – that’s more than 3,700 new cases, Gauteng accounted for nearly 6,000 of those.
Ramaphosa convened a meeting of the National Coronavirus Command where the Department of Health will make a presentation.
