Trevor fist bumps the King of Brooklyn and Wife.

The Daily Show host and comedian Trevor Noah was star-stricken when he met prominent celebrities Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé. Despite having met and interviewed a number of global stars, the comedian gasped at the entrance of the couple.

According to his brief Instagram caption, the award-winning comedian was attending the Brooklyn Nets Game, when the stars gave him fist bumps.

“I’ve thought of every possible caption for this picture but really what can I write? You’re at the @brooklynnets game, the King of Brooklyn walks in with his wife @beyonce, and then they both fists bump you.”

He continues to write that he hopes that the younger South African boy in him will always remind him that he is living his dreams.

“You try to act cool but then later you see a picture of the moment and you realize that this life is insane!!! What a privilege and magical moment to experience in life. And even though magic happens to me every day, I hope the little South African boy inside of me never stops reminding me that I’m living a dream,” Trevor wrote.

According to reports, Trevor is nominated for this year’s Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards. He is nominated for the Male Star of the Year at the third annual Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards alongside RuPaul, Stanley Tucci, Guy Fieri, and Phil Rosenthal. Trevor’s show, ‘The Daily Show’ also scooped several awards at the MTV Movie & TV award this year.

The comedian announced a few weeks ago that he is getting back on stage to do stand-up comedy after almost a year. He posted a picture captioned:

“When you haven’t been on stage in almost a year and Chappelle tells you it’s time to get back on stage, you get back on stage! Few things in this life have meant more to me than having these two legends as my mentors and friends.

According to him they all share a mutual love and this makes things a whole lot easier.

“All 3 of us share a love for stand-up that only fellow comedians can truly understand, and it’s easy to keep that love going when you get to share a stage with the greatest to ever do it! DC It’s time to get back on stage, let’s do this people!”
