It didn’t go as planned for Thabiso Kutumela during his time with the Mayfair-based-outfit as he struggled for game time and to secure his position in the team.
However, Kutumela managed to revive his career with the Durban-based-outfit.
This is undoutedly the best season for Marizburg starlet Thabiso Kutumela, who was a protogonist in Marizburg’s relagation survival in the 2020/2021 season. Managing to register 14 goals and 1 assist in 37 appearances with The Team of Choice.
According to reports, Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mnqithi has always admired Kutumela’s talents even before he opted to join the Sea Robbers.
“I like him but I am not sure if he is coming to the club or not, but I like him. He is a very good footballl player. I have always liked him, you can ask him. When he was at Baroka, I liked him,” said Mnqithi.
The Mokopane-born attacker is left with one-year in his current contract with Marizburg United and he will be allowed to pen a pre-contract with the team of his choice from January next-year.
