SA ACTRESS THUSO MBEDU SPELLBINDS ELLEN DEGENERES INTERVIEW

KwaZulu-Natal born actress Thuso Mbedu has once again set the cinematography streets ablaze, with the formidable execution of her new lead role in the American series, “The Underground Railroad”.

The now Hollywood based actress Mbedu, has once again captured the hearts of many across the globe, following her compelling interview on the popular television program; the Ellen Degeneres show.

Mbedu made her recent debut in Hollywood as lead character, Cora in a new series The Underground Railroad, which is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video and TheUGRailroadTv.

The star took to social media, to share images of herself in studio on the Ellen Degeneres Show which welcomed us into her exciting experience on the talk show. Mbedu’s engagement with Ellen afforded viewers a glimpse into her new role in the new Amazon series and reminds why her encapsulating performance places her at fore of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood right now.

Mbedu quoted “Had a great time on @TheEllenShow talking all things #TheUndergroundRailroad. This was my very first in studio interview. Can you tell how excited I was?Don’t think I could’ve smiled any wider even if I tried.

The thespians talent comes as no surprise, as her performance in the South African telenovela Is’Thunzi made her introduction to Hollywood an unforgettable one, bagging her a nomination for an Emmy Award for her role, which has been called “one of the most compelling programmes on South African television” by Mail & Guardian.
