A former employee of G4S Cash Solutions will be appearing in the Durban Magistrate’s Court in connection with stealing R2.4 million
The former employee allegedly stole the money while he was employed at the company’s depot in Westville.
He was arrested by the Hawks on the same day in Durban.
Hawks spokesperson Katlego Mogale says the man apparently used the money to build a house in KwaZulu-Natal.
“It is alleged that in December 2019, the suspect was an employee at G4S and stole approximately stole R2.4 million from cash solution depot in Westville” said Mogale.
