The case against Nthuthuko Shoba who is the alleged mastermind behind the murder of 28-year-old Tshegofatso Pule has been postponed to 25 May 2021.
Shoba was arrested in February after the man who confessed to killing Pule, Muzikayise Malephane, turned State witness.
Ntuthuko Shoba appeared in court on Tuesday for an application to be kept at the Krugersdorp Police Station
His lawyer Shaddy Sithole, said Shoba was receiving death threats and brought an application stating that if he was transferred to Johannesburg Prison he would not be safe.
He claimed the threats were allegedly from Muzikayise Malephane, his co-accused.
Last year, Pule’s body was found in an open veld in Roodepoort. She was eight months pregnant at the time.
The case has been postponed to next week Tuesday.
