The South African Football Association (SAFA) is expected to unveil the new Bafana Bafana coach on Wednesday afternoon.
Belgian Hugo Broos is expected to be named the new coach, although no confirmation has been made.
Ealier this week, Belgian Hugo Broos confirmed to the media that he was contacted by SA Football Association (Safa) officials about the vacant Bafana Bafana coaching job.
The 69-year-old Broos was the only foreigner out of the five short-listed candidates.
Social media has called on SAFA to give the job to AmaZulu FC coach, Benni Mcarthy.
For almost a month, SAFA has been trying to appoint Molefi Ntseki’s replacement since his contract was terminated on the 31st of March.
