The boyfriend of 28-year-old Tshegofatso Pule is expected to apply for bail on Monday in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court, west of Johannesburg.
Nthutuko Shoba is accused of orchestrating the murder of his girlfriend Pule.
Shoba was arrested at his home in Florida last month, this is after, Muzikayise Malephane who was convicted for Pule’s murder, indicated that the boyfriend, Ntuthuko Shoba had paid him to kill Pule.
Malephane told the court that Shoba promised to pay him R70 000 for the murder, so that his wife wouldn’t find out that she was pregnant.
Malephane has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Tshegofatso Pule was eight month pregnant at the time of the murder, her body was found in an open veld in Roodepoort in June 2020.
