The National Driving School Association of South Africa (NDSASA) marched to the Sandton licensing center to stage a protest.
The spokesperson of Malboro Driving Association Mmereki Legodi, said the reason for the protest was to put a stop to the online booking system which is not working for independent driving schools and their customers
“Driving school businesses are operating as if the country is still on level 5 of the lockdown” added Legodi.
The association stated that they have lost a lot of business with the online booking system and it does not work for them at all.
“Our houses and cars are being repossessed because we .All their giving us as driving schools is 20% a week and these are bookings on Tuesdays only.” Said Legodi
The association said they are demanding that all licensing departments must open on a full operation.
