Tiger Woods was in a car accident on Tuesday morning.
It was reported that woods suffered injuries to both legs as his car went off a road and rolled down a steep hillside near Los Angeles.
The golfer was in the area for his annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club, and was driving a courtesy car on the morning of the crash.
Woods was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering multiple injuries after the accident.
Firefighters and paramedics extricated Woods from the wreckage of his SUV and transported him with a neck collar and backboard to a local hospital via road, where he underwent surgery.
According to reports Tiger Woods did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the early-morning incident.
Deputy Carlos who was the first officer to arrive on the scene said Woods was fortunate to come out of the scene alive.
Messages to wish the golfer a speedy recovery, have been pouring in on Twitter.
