President Ramaphosa to Respond to the SONA Debate at 2pm.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will reply to the State of the Nation Address debate at 2pm on Thursday. The President will be addressing issues raised from his speech.

Members of Parliament debated Ramaphosa’s address in the National Assembly on Tuesday, a joint sitting of the National Assembly of the second day of the debate was held on Wednesday.

Opposition parties criticized President’s State of Nation Address criticized . The African National Congress was the only party that praised the president.

The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Julius Malema said Ramaphosa incompetent.

“You are incompetent, incapacitated and the most unreliable human being. Perhaps it is something you learnt when you worked as a legal officer for the Oppenheimers.”

The DA’s John Steenhuisen said the president did not say anything new.

“The president repeatedly spoke of reforms, but what is clear from his actions – or rather, his inactions – is that he means for things to stay exactly the same.”

 PAC leader, Mzwanele Nyhontso, said the president did not speak much on unemployment.

National Freedom Party MP Shaik Emam told Ramaphosa that said the Ramaphos win never win the fight against corruption.
