A Nigerian businessman, Prince Obieze Nestor, who was arrested by the police in Dubai after he posted a video flaunting his money on instagram, has allegedly died in police custody.
It is reported that Nestor was in the oil and gas business, and he used to post his flashy lifestyle on social media.
According to reports he was arrested days after his intagram video, and while he was in custody he was not allowed visits. His lawyer and his family were also denied access.
Nestor is believed to have been tortured in custody leading to his death.
Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs are expected to release a statement soon.
