BREAKING: Bosman Taxi Rank Commuters Injured From Deadly Shooting Spree.

The morning of Friday 11 December 2020, saw unsuspecting commuters and taxi drivers at the Bosman Taxi Rank in Pretoria Gauteng, sustaining severe injuries from gunshot wounds, following a random shooting by unknown gunmen in the early hours of the morning.

Reports have emerged that Six People have been hospitalised, after suffering serious injuries from the gunshots.

Two taxi drivers and Three commuters are reportedly injured and were transported to hospital, this leaving other commuters stranded without any more of transportation, following the tragedy.

Tshwane Emergency Medical Services, immediately attendees to the scene and transported the victims to nearby hospitals. The EMS spokesperson, Mr. Charles Mabaso, confirmed that the incident indeed took place.

According to Mabaso, gunshots were heard as early as 6.30am.

They were alerted when, shortly after the shooting, a man with multiple gunshot wounds walked into the fire station and required urgent treatment by paramedics inside the fire station. Two more people allegedly arrived at the fire station and were treated on the spot.

The motive of the shooting is not yet known and No fatalities have been reported.

The Emergency Medical Services said that a fire truck was immediately dispatched to the crime scene, to attend to others that may have sustained injuries. Upon their arrival the firefighters were with a pool of blood, as three more people were found injured.

Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele confirmed that two unknown suspects arrived at the taxi rank, on foot and fired an disclosed number of shots.
