The minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, urgently met with the Education MECs from the 9 provinces, as well as senior department of education officials to discuss yet another leak of the 2020 matric exam paper.
It is alleged that the physical science paper 2 was leaked on Monday morning, just a few hours before pupils sat down for the exam. This is the second leak after a maths paper was leaked a week ago.
Motshekga has expressed her disappointment after learning of the second leak within a week. She stated that the hawks have been brought in to intervene and investigate the leak of the paper.
