It is day 9 of the nationwide lockdown and many of us are battling with fast food cravings. It is only a matter of time before the brave attempt homemade versions of their favourites. Read more to see how you could recreate two of the many best-selling burgers.
The Big Mac
McDonald’s South Africa tweeted an interesting video of its CEO, Greg Solomon, making his own Big Mac burger at home. Greg missed the burger so much that he gathered a few ingredients and began the quest to satisfy his craving. The CEO didn’t share too many details but made sure to highlight the importance of hygiene by sanitizing his hands.
Here’s what Greg shows us:
With just two beef patties, freshly baked buns sprinkled with sesame seeds, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce & your own take on McD’s secret sauce, you could create your own burger that’s reminiscent of the Big Mac.
He called citizens to share their attempts at the burger under the #McDsAtHomeChallenge
If you’re not a McDonald’s fan, then perhaps the Whopper might tickle your fancy. Burger King in France has also shared with fans a list of ingredients that they could use to assemble their own Whopper.
Here are other attempts from people around the world:
