I Represent South Africa Launches SheFense Campaign.

An Organisation I Represent South Africa has taken a step towards fighting gender based violence. We have been been faced with an epidemic that has taken over the livelihood and safety of women in South Africa. Unfortunate times have dawned upon us where women cannot live their lives freely without the fear of being violated, raped , abused or killed even at the hands of their loved ones. This organisation has decided to take a stand and tackle the pain of gender based violence by offering women free self defense training in association with Planet Fitness.

I Represent South Africa was established in the year 2000, as the voice and spirit of the people of the South African nation.  I Represent South Africa is founded with the intent to serve communities beyond the boundaries and boarders of major South African cities but,  firmly embedded throughout all provinces within the South African borders. Our reach since our inception has increased drastically, with the support of local and national media platforms we stand to see the voice of the proud South African patriot heard, support and funding  stationed in the correct  areas and organisations, that contribute positively to the growth of our people and our economy. As an organisation we position ourselves in a manner that promises a wide spread of patriotism throughout the nation, successfully.

The SheFense program is created to assist women to equip themselves with the necessary skills needed to help themselves aid an attack, should they find themselves in a life threatening situation. Below we have a demonstrative video from Accredited and highly experienced Self Defense coach Raainard of Planet Fitness, teaching women how to get themselves out of a situation where they stand the danger of being raped.

Watch: Raainard demonstrates how to use your body to shrug off a perpetrator.

The founders of the organisation Mrs. Precious & Mr Mpilo Mlebuka have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support of the campaign by huge brands such as Planet Fitness and their sponsors Simeka Capital holdings, for believing in the importance of the campaign and working together to create a safer South Africa.

Mrs Precious Mlebuka said in a statement, We are at awe at the response that we have received since the inception of the program, with women from all walks of life coming forward to seek assistance and work towards learning new methods to protect themselves against gender based violence. We lives in times where South Africa is no longer a sanctuary for women but a dome for men to do as the they please to women due to our vulnerability. We have taken a stand against being seen as vulnerable, we are not weak, we are objects! We are fit and we able to protect ourselves! Not with our bodies! No still and will forever mean No!!! Hands off our women and children.
